A PAS Alumna Serving the Next Generation.
Partnering with Families to Nurture Faith, Learning, and Purpose
Hi there! I am the principal and 5th–8th grade teacher at Peninsula Adventist School. I grew up in this community and am a proud PAS alumna, later earning my teaching credential and Master’s in Education from CSU Monterey Bay. With eight years of experience in education, my passion for teaching and mentoring students continues to grow each year. PAS is a truly special place where we intentionally invite God into our learning and daily lives, helping students build a meaningful relationship with Him and understand how deeply they are loved. Our students thrive in a safe, nurturing environment where they are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and personally. I feel deeply blessed to partner with families in cultivating a Christ-centered, family-oriented community where every child can flourish.

"Our son genuinely LOVED going to Peninsula Adventist School for grades 6-8 (after home schooling several years). After his first few days he said he wished we sent him there years earlier! Now he's finishing up a PhD & hired by a great university as a Professor by age 30! He still has the fondest memories of the wonderful friendships with students and teachers at PAS."
-- George & Esther B.
"I had 2 grandsons and recently a great grandson attend PAS, and all had great experiences. The teachers seem to really care about the kids. Unbeatable student to teacher ratio. They all have friends from there that they stay in touch with.
-- Paul S.

Today you'll find Adventist schools in nearly 150 countries. 85,000 teachers, 1.5 million students, 7,500 schools—the Adventist school system is one of the largest Christian educational systems in the world.
Absolutely not. Families from many Christian denominations—and those from other faith backgrounds—are welcome at Peninsula Adventist School. While our program is rooted in Christian values and a biblical worldview, students are never required to be Adventist to attend. We simply ask that families respect the Christian foundation of the school, as we work together to nurture students academically, socially, and spiritually in a supportive, faith-centered environment.
No. Peninsula Adventist School respects every child and family’s freedom of conscience. We do not pressure students to join the Adventist Church or adopt any particular denomination. Instead, we focus on helping students grow in character, develop strong moral values, and build a thoughtful, personal relationship with God at a pace that is appropriate for them.
Faith is presented through learning, service, and example—not coercion—and spiritual decisions are always left to the individual and their family. We partner with parents to support each child’s growth academically, emotionally, and spiritually while honoring their beliefs.
Yes. Adventist schools are fully accredited by recognized state or national accrediting bodies, ensuring they meet the same academic standards required of public and private schools. In addition, Adventist schools participate in a rigorous internal accreditation process through the church’s Office of Education, which focuses on academic quality, instructional effectiveness, student support, and continuous improvement.
This dual accreditation helps ensure a well-rounded, high-quality education that prepares students for success in high school, college, and beyond. Families are encouraged to speak directly with current parents and students to learn firsthand about the academic experience and outcomes at their local Adventist school.
